General Skuardey

He's a Charizard with enough battle scars for a whole platoon, and is the second-in-command of King Tyrak of the Four Islands' army, the first-in-command being the King himself.

Skuardey is not a nice Pokémon. He is rude, bad-tempered, and normally very unsympathetic. If new recruits try to tell him something that's worrying them (and them personally, not if they're worried for someone else), he'll respond with a shrug and tell them to go and talk to one of 'the nice ones'. He despises Sceptiles - he lost the two missing claws in a battle against Sceptile pirates - and isn't too keen on humans either. He tends to refer to them as slavers, though he acknowledges that the 'Traineds' in the Army are some of the best fighters in it.

Despite that, he is a good Pokémon. The two things he loathes most in the world are injustice and bullies. He is fair to everyone, whether he likes them or not; he'll react exactly the same to someone he likes doing something bad as to someone he doesn't. If he sees someone hitting another, he'll ask what was done to provoke it. If you have something genuinely important to say, he'll hear you out. He is loyal and brave to the death.

He has adopted the trident as his emblem, even though it is King Tyrak who uses one in war. Skuardey can no longer fly, due to too many blows taken to his wings.
