A Change of Apparel

I don't much vary what I draw my characters wearing. Sometimes this is for character reasons (e.g. Wygar being very attached to his blue coat, or Sarkany's clothes technically being magical constructs created when he changes form) but it's usually just because I couldn't be arsed designing new outfits for them. But I felt like drawing what Wygar and Fayn wore to their wedding, so I did.

Wygar is quite vain about his hair and spends a lot of time and effort washing, conditioning, straightening and otherwise looking after his glorious red mane, but for day-to-day styling he usually just ties it in a ponytail. His best men and Fayn's bridesmaid, knowing full well that Fayn adores his hair, conspired to get him to wear it down for a change. They could not, however, persuade him to change his footwear. Fayn agreed wholeheartedly with his reasoning, which was 'If they're not making you wear shoes at all, why can't I wear my comfy boots?'

The green sash and flower crown are Falkari things, symbolic of Fayn's ancestral forest home. They did their best to work out a mixture of Stormhaven and Falkari traditions for the wedding, though some research was required as Fayn herself only had the vaguest of familiarities with Falkari wedding traditions.
